I saw Jaris two days after her birth and then not again until she was six weeks old. There were interested parties abroad, but her breeder, due to her English bloodline, was keen to keep her nearby so she could be called upon if needed. And that's when the decision was made that Jaris would come to me.
Jaris was an extremely outgoing and playful dog. She played with absolutely everyone, big or small. Her first appearances in the show ring were in August and September 2008 in puppy class. I also showed her several times in 2009 with excellent results. On October 19, 2009, she received her full breeding license in Austria. In mid-November 2009, she was bred to Steel, and on January 10, 2010, Jaris had her first and only litter, the M litter of my kennel Caipirinha's.
Jaris was healthy her entire life and remained active even in her old age. On May 2, 2025, at the age of 17 years and 3 months, she started her way to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge peacefully in her sleep. Her advanced age is only a small consolation for her loss. I am grateful for the many years I was able to spend with her and cherish her. She - like all the others who have left us - has a special place in my heart. We will meet again, someday …...
